Why Horizons?

We’re the real deal.

In addition to cooking up some of the best vegan food in the country, we sport a smart selection of wines, spirits, and craft and microbrew beers, and our collection is always growing.

Every ingredient has a purpose.

Our dinner menu never spans more than a page, and it changes with the seasons. If there’s an ingredient in a dish, it’s there for a reason. No fluff, and no gimmicks. Just focused, flavorful food that tells a unique story. And the best part is there’s always something new to enjoy.

You can bring your friends. And theirs.

Horizons spans two floors, so whether you’re looking for a romantic dinner for two, or want to bring your entire family in for a warm meal, we’ve got you covered. We can seat up to twelve people in our main dining room by reservation, and we can host private parties of up to sixty people with advanced booking.

We’ve got a great tasting menu.

Can’t decide what to order? On Tuesdays through Thursdays, sit back and enjoy a custom menu prepared by Chef Richard Landau. Just call ahead and tell us how many courses you'd like, and he'll deliver a prix fixe experience you won't soon forget. If you'd like, we can even pair each course with a selection from our stellar wine list.

We wrote the book on vegan cuisine. Twice.

When you visit, you can pick up a copy of Horizons: New Vegan Cuisine, our latest cookbook. If one is not enough, you can still buy our original guide—Horizons: The Cookbook—online. We also offer an introductory cooking class through Temple University Center City. There, you can quiz Chef Rich Landau and Pastry Chef Kate Jacoby. That's cooking you can count on.

We get you.

If you have a food allergy, or have specific dietary restrictions, we’ll help you out. Our servers will let you know what’s good to go. Or, call ahead and we’ll tailor a delicious dish to your needs.
